The second thing that’s up here is a giant concrete cross
It’s kind of strange – as you walk up the hill to the summit of Mount Davidson (summit because it’s the highest point in San Francisco) you’re in a state park. The area surrounding the cross though, it’s made abundantly clear, is owned by the church. I guess they got tired of getting nasty letters from church v. state fanatics so they put up a bunch of signs…
