Jason on Mt. Tam

On Saturday, er Sunday, we climbed to the top of Mt. Tam. Actually we drove to the top, ate some frou-frou sandwiches we’d brought from the city and then walked along a paved trail around the top of the mountain. We did go off trail though for a little bit to get this amazing view. It’s hard to see probably, but Sausalito and San Francisco, as well as the entire bay area are stretched out below. The elevation here is about 3000 feet and it was clear enough to see all the way down to San Jose.
