That ferry in the foreground is normally one of the largest ships in the bay (aside from the freighters that come and go all day long). The Queen Mary 2 makes it look like a toy.

Looking North from the Golden Gate Bridge

There are small lookout points located at each anchor/tower of the bridge that let you look out along the bridge. The view from the southern town north is the better of the two. While standing there i think were extras in approximately 4,532 digital pictures.
